Visiting friends and we went to the market. The lady was very nice and packaged up some cannolis for a plane trip back to the west coast. Never had cannolis before so nothing to compare them to, but they were delicious to me. I will be coming back later in the year and will be getting more.

I saw how huge the apple fritters looked so I decided to buy one. Once I got it out of the bag it was about half the size of what I saw near the glass window. I showed it to her and she tried to convince me that they were all the same size. She refused to switch it because she claimed I touched it already. (I held it in the paper!) She gladly pulled out about 8 other fritters from the back to show me that they were all the same size. It would have made my day if she dropped them all. Maybe those from the back were the same size but clearly twice as big as my poor little appleless fritter. She never offered to exchange it and in front of us proceeded to make rude comments to another worker saying that some people are never happy etc. We got in the car and decided to try said apple fritter to find that there are no pieces of apples in it. Circle K sells better ones! I'm regretting not buying one from an elderly gentleman at a different stand. She was an apple fritter "B".

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I bought a dozen macaroons from them while at the West Side Market, and they were THIRTY dollars. Not only that, they made a separate, UNAUTHORIZED additional charge of $10 on my card. So I ended up paying FORTY DOLLARS for the WORST, most dried out macaroons I have ever eaten. My husband and son couldn't even eat an entire cookie because they were so old and stale. Never again.

I’m not too particular about my macrons but even I know that these were not great. They were pretty old and were basically falling apart. I would have honestly enjoyed the ones from Sam’s Club more.
